Cooler Kits
We
use a stacked-plate element oil cooler designed to provide
maximum cooling efficiency with a minimum oil pressure drop. Made
from aerospace quality aluminum which measure only 1½" thick
for easy installation. Euro Sport 4cyl oil cooler kits are supplied
with your choice of oil cooler element, choice of a standard
or mocal sandwich adapter, seven feet of high pressure rubber
hose, stainless steel hose clamps, push on fittings and mounting
ties. Our kits are available for all 4cyl VW's
including 1.8T.
VR6 Specific Oil Cooler Kits
Our
VR6 kits use the same stacked-plate element oil cooler that our
4Cyl kits are supplied with. Euro Sport VR6 oil cooler
kits are supplied with 1.5" X 5.75" X 11" oil cooler element,
Mocal thermostatic sandwich adapter, VR6 adapter plate, replacement
O-rings, high pressure rubber hose, stainless steel hose clamps,
push lock fittings, mounting bracket, zip-ties and complete installation
instructions.
Sandwich
Adapters
Installed
in the same location as the standard unit that is offered with
our kits. The Mocal unit made from precision cast aluminum
has a built in 180°F thermostat. This sandwich adapter
allows your engine to warm up faster to reach the ideal temperature
range before cooling begins. (Comes standard with our VR6 kits)
